    A couple of comments received suggesting BMT and a YouTube channel. The thing is I think we need 'public sources of original recordings'.

    BMT is a private tracker and registration is currently closed, anyone that knows about BMT is already in, and anyone that didn't know can't do much about it.

    Youtube and other guys on public trackers reposting recordings they downloaded from some of the links posted above won't much help either.

    It muddys the water and perhaps tricks people into thinking the O&A recording eco-system is healthier than it really is.
    We need a bunch of different people all recording audio to act as cover, not one or two people recording and then others reposting that one file again and again.
    In the long run that doesn't really help anyone, and leaves you exposed if someone does stop recording.

    1. It was back in June that I last did the map of IP addresses and visitors.

      There were 8 IP addresses from Polish ISPs in 24hours. (And that's unique visitors not the same person refreshing 8 times).

      That was when the site did 5,000 downloads per show. December was well over 10,000 per show, so surely it is reasonable to assume an extra 8-10 Poles.

      And then YouTube does another 15,000 views per show, so there must be at least a few hidden in there too.

      So you are not alone.

    3. I should have re-done the IP address thing before closing, to get some more recent numbers.

      In June 2012 it was 2 from Latvia, 3 from Lithuania and 4 from Estonia.

      You also have a bunch of IP addresses that couldn't get reliably traced to a country, so there might be a couple more hiding there.

      Those numbers would have doubled by now. (Top 10 countries that show up in blogspot stats for December have all more than doubled since June, so countries outside the top 10 should have doubled too).

      And then add a few more on YouTube too I guess.

      Blog pageviews on their own are very unreliable stats, but for December, it was ranked:
      United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Finland, Netherlands, Norway.

    1. I try to keep up with them as best I can but it isn't easy. They always get done eventually, it just sometimes takes a little longer than it used to when I had a consistent work schedule.
